About abe
More than a name. A creative universe.
The journey began with a simple Instagram account called Art by Evy in 2022—a place where I shared my paintings and creative process.
Over time, something unexpected happened.
I realised that what I was building was about much more than art alone.
My background as an architect, my passion for creativity, my workshops, retreats, sound baths and the many projects I dream of all belonged to the same story.
That is how ABE was born.
Today, ABE stands for Art, Architecture and other Creative Activities—a creative universe where different disciplines come together with one shared purpose: creating beauty, meaningful experiences and hope.
For more than twenty years I worked as an architect, designing buildings and environments where people could live, work and gather. Alongside architecture, painting was always present—quietly growing into an equally important part of my creative life.
Today, these worlds naturally come together.
Whether I’m designing a building, creating a painting or developing a new creative project, my process always begins in the same place: curiosity, intuition and a desire to create something meaningful.
Living in the small coastal village of Korshamn in Southern Norway has deeply influenced both my life and my work. Surrounded by the ocean, changing seasons and quiet landscapes, I have learned to appreciate the beauty of slowing down, observing and allowing ideas to evolve naturally.
Many of my paintings are built through layers. Layers of colour. Layers of texture. Layers of time. Much like life itself.
That is why my current exhibition is called Layers of Life.
The name reflects not only the paintings, but the philosophy behind everything I create.

ABE is built on the belief that creativity can do more than decorate walls.
Art has the ability to comfort, inspire, create conversations and bring people together.
For that reason, 10% of all profits are dedicated to projects that create hope and positive change through creativity.
Every painting becomes part of something larger.
